Education and Visitor Centre
It is anticipated that, subject to planning permissions, one of the stone barns will be transformed into an office, education and visitor centre to be used by students, researchers and conservation volunteers.
The Trelusback Foundation conservation area is currently used by Exeter University, local colleges, wildlife groups and Cornwall Butterfly and Moth Society for education, research and recording. These activities are limited due to a the lack of facilities such as a toilet, meeting room and kitchen. When these facilities have been added the barn can also be used by students, researchers, recorders, volunteers for meetings and comfort breaks. It could also potentially be used as a visitor centre. We regret that currently the provision of these facilities is not possible until such time as funding has been obtained.
